KORN: New Album Pushed Back A Week
October 6, 2003KORN have pushed back the projected release date of their sixth album, "Take a Look in the Mirror", to November 25 through Epic Records. The album's first single, "Right Now", is due to hit U.S. radio outlets during the coming days.
According to the band's official web site, the forthcoming album "will contain between 10 to 13 tracks… Drums and bass tracks have both been laid and finished. The guitar tracks were being finished on the night of September 25. Jonathan [Davis] is currently writing lyrics as you read this, and has been working from 8:00 p.m. every night 'till early into the next morning."
The self-produced CD is the follow-up to the Grammy-winning 2002 album "Untouchables", which debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 1.4 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"Take a Look in the Mirror" is expected to include "Did My Time", a song the band recorded earlier this year for the movie "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life". The cut debuted at No. 38 on Billboard's Hot 100 in August.
